With the European Regional Development Fund (EFRE) 2021-2027, the European Union and the state of Baden-Württemberg are focusing on strengthening research, technological development and innovation as well as promoting efforts to reduce CO2 emissions. With the funding line "Top in the countryside! Technology leader for Baden-Württemberg", the state is targeting small and medium-sized companies with fewer than 100 employees in rural areas that demonstrate the potential for technological leadership through their ability to innovate and strong technological expertise. These companies are of particular importance for rural areas as they shape the balanced structure of Baden-Württemberg and are the engine for innovation and future viability.

Small companies with fewer than 50 employees can receive up to 20 percent subsidies for their investments. In the current selection round, Alphavan GmbH, among others, is being supported to implement their innovative ideas.

With the construction of a new company location in Leutkirch, the planned growth of Alphavan GmbH (in conjunction with AlphaX GmbH) and the expansion of business activities in the area of electrified motorhomes are to be realized. In particular, the introduction of a new product line of electrified motorhomes is to be started.
